7 DESCRIPTION OF INDIANA LAW CASE LAW: CASE LAW: OVWI – Causing Death OVWI – Causing Death Causation Element - Must prove that defendant’s driving conduct caused the crash that caused the death & that victim was not the cause of the crash or death.
