12. Lacks focus in the all important areas of PPP POWER PUBLIC TRANSPORT POLICING And all 3 contribute to overall security in the City GREATER NOIDA But enough commitment ???

13. GREATER NOIDA Losing Focus ??? Privatized power supply Concept is good Privatization without competition – A disaster for the consumers

14. Authority funded buses …the yellow revolution Failing miserably Totally lacking professionalism and accountability GREATER NOIDA Losing Focus ???

15. GREATER NOIDA Present Scenario : Security Ineffective Private Security Guards Patrolling is only for the name sake Booths installed at roundabouts went missing long time back

16. Less populated sectors are almost neglected by Police Example : Knowledge Parks Omega, Phi, Builders Area Pi, Rho, Sigma, Swarna Nagri… GREATER NOIDA Present Scenario : Security

17. Nights are scary on the roads in the absence of enough PPP Factors making life vulnerable Lack of a decent Public Transport Absence of enough Police Patrol Non functional street lights GREATER NOIDA Present Scenario : Security

18. Auto Lifting from markets, sectors and even from roads Snatching of bags, mobiles etc Thefts happening in houses, mainly locked ones As population is very less, only possible deterrent is deploying more police on the streets and market areas GREATER NOIDA Present Scenario : Crime

19. No check on traffic violations Driving on the service roads is mostly in the wrong direction No control on Speed, especially on the service roads GREATER NOIDA Present Scenario : Traffic

20. GREATER NOIDA Police Stations Presently 4 Stations – Greater NOIDA, Kasna, Surajpur and Dhankore None of the urban residential sectors come under the station named after the city They come under Kasna Police station which is not in Kasna but in Beta II !

21. NOIDA POLICE Web site Excellent and professionally done layout Very little Information about Greater NOIDA sectors Focus seems to be only on NOIDA Shouldn’t it be renamed as Gautam Budh Nagar Police site ?

22. Some humble suggestions Rename Kasna Police Station as Greater NOIDA City Police station and make it a model station Complete computerization – CIPA Deploying Electronic surveillance like CCTV cameras Online complaint section on the web site needs to be more comprehensive Complaint ID Future follow up Status of past complaints should be visible to General Public

23. Patrolling to be improved, specially during nights Set up a 24 hr call centre with centralized information like Phone numbers of Station Officers and Patrol vans Accessing call centre via toll free lines from anywhere should be possible Call centre should register public complaints More suggestions…

24. And a few more suggestions Patrolling on Express highway should be more efficient..especially in nights Vehicles crossing the central verge along Express way to be punished Giving fixed tenure to Station Officers More Police-Citizen interactions
