Activities: eat BBQ and moon cake while enjoy watching the moon with family; write poetry to appreciate Autumn beauty. Legend story about Changer and fairies. Thanksgiving project rubrics
Students will use the new words to write a mini book “ I am thankful for …”. Grade guideline Totally 10 sentences will be included in the book. The students will write: Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you to 6 people. Describe what he/ she will eat and what his/ her mom/ dad will prepare for thanksgiving dinner. 30% Write each word neatly in Chinese 20% Draw a picture for each sentence with color marker / glue color pictures 10% Read aloud correctly 40% Presentation Friday Nov. 22.
