2. Cubism Cubism is a style of art that began in the early 1900’s.
A cubist work of art is painting or drawing of a 3-d object that is drawn from different viewpoints (straight-on, profile view, on top, underneath, etc.)
Cubist art is not meant to be realistic.

Spanish painter, draftsman and sculptor who lived most of his life in France.
Best known for his co-founding of the Cubist movement in art.
As a child, could draw very well, but tried out new and different techniques as he grew.
