2. Presley Family  Elvis Presley was born January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi.  Elvis was oddly attached to his mother, Gladys Presley.

3. Elvis’s Birth  Elvis was born January 8, 1935  He was born in this house in Tupelo, Mississippi  It was 4:35 a.m. when he was born.

4. First Guitar HHe was 11 years old when he got his first guitar. AA friend of his family was nice and gave Elvis guitar lessons. TThen his family moved to Memphis, Tennessee.

5. First Album  In Nashville, Tennessee, Elvis did his first recordings  He released his first album on March 23.

6. Marriage  On May 1, 1967, Elvis married Priscilla Beaulieu.  They married in the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas.

7. His Daughter  Priscilla and Elvis had a baby named Lisa Marie Presley.  Elvis divorced Priscilla in August 1972.

8. The Ed Sullivan Show  Elvis appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show on September 9, 1956.  He sang “Hound Dog” on a T.V. performance in the early 50’s.

9. Elvis in Hawaii  On January 1973, Elvis did a charity concert in Hawaii.  This was a first live concert broadcasted.

10. Death  Elvis started having heath problems.  A drug affected his health and mood.  Elvis died on August 16, 1977.  He was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee.
