Recent Product Approval Changes Self–Affirmation FBC 2007 Application Self Affirmation Upon review of the new Code, if the standards and restrictions in the new Code applicable to your product have not changed, you can “self-affirm” that your product complies with applicable standards of the new Code. Please contact the Product Approval Administrator Ted Berman And Associates before initiating a self- affirmation Self Affirmations cost $50.

Recent Product Approval Changes Revision FBC 2007 Application Revision: If the standards or restrictions pertaining to your product in the 2007 Code have changed, then a product revision application must be submitted. New evidence such as a test report or an evaluation report demonstrating compliance must also be submitted. Revisions cost $300.

The supplemental label is limited to one design pressure rating per reference standard per label.

Recent Product Approval Changes 1714.5.3.4 Garage Door Labeling Garage Door Permanent Label shall identify the manufacturer, garage door model/series number, the positive and negative design pressure rating, indicate impact rated if applicable, the installation instruction drawing reference number, Fl. Product Approval number or Miami-Dade Product Approval if applicable, and the applicable test standards. Label may also contain in a checklist format required garage door components for an approved garage door assembly.
