17 Hawthorne Public Schools Separate Proposal BE IT RESOLVED, that there should be raised an additional $625,000 for general funds in the same school year (2012- 2013) to reduce class size. These taxes will be used exclusively for the hiring of one District-wide Enrichment Teacher, one Physical Education Teacher, three Elementary School Teachers, two Middle School Teachers, one Teacher of Elective Courses at the High School, and the reinstatement of one Director of Education. Approval of these taxes will result in a permanent recurring increase in the tax levy. These proposed tax additional expenditures are in addition to those necessary to achieve the core curriculum content standards.
