2 Introduction Our organization has developed the vaccine for Ebola. The devastating impact Ebola has had on the African continent suggest the imperative need for expediting our work to meet the need to serve Africans and the world. Because of the outbreak of Ebola in Africa and scarcity of available resources to prevent the spread of the disease. The team has done research in relations to demographic trends that has affected the population of low poverty. Research and technology advances has created a vaccine of prevention to reduce the rapid spread of the disease.

3 Employee Costs The main positions required for the project are given below: Laboratory technologists - Number of positions -12 The laboratory technologists are placed with respect to the payments and incentives, investing in pre- services and in- training services, adjustment of the immediately formed gaps in healthcare services, harmonizing donor initiatives, care and treatment provision for health associates having HIV or AIDS, and the health professional’s migration Pathologists: Number of positions – 3 Pathologists work in laboratory operations. They work in the preparation of the operating rooms, arrangements of the equipments. They have the responsibility for the preparation of the tests associated with healthcare, which involves testing equipments and the instrument’s set up.

4 Employee Costs Operations Manager: Number of positions -3 The main task of the candidate goes with the managerial task of equipment purchasing and purchasing officer. Finance office clerk: Number of positions- 2 The necessity of financial awareness is expected from the candidates also having good communicative skills and the capability of working in a group.

5 FTE Calculations FTE Calculation-: Step - pathologist The number of working hours per period for full-time workers can be found by multiplying the number of full-time workers by 40 to the number of weeks for each period. Thus FTE each year having five full-time workers= 5*40*52=10,400 hours. Thus the total salary of the pathologist is $1,650,000 a year

6 FTE Calculations Step 2- laboratory technologists Adding the number of hours for the full-time workers and part-time workers, Thus 10,400 + 1,640 =12,040 hours worked. Thus the total salary of the laboratory technologists is $50,820 per year Step 3- finance office clerk Dividing the total number of working hours to the number of working hours for full-time workers. Thus 2,080 the number of working hours by a full-time worker yearly 12,040 by 2,080 for calculating 5.79 FTEs. This the salary of finance office clerk is $35,000 per year.

9 Financials  Direct cost-:Costs which are unique and exclusive to a subunit. Here the hospital CEO assigns costs to its various regional and national offices of sales that can be termed as direct cost.  Indirect cost-:Costs that associates with the shared resources utilized by the whole organization of the hospital.  Fixed Cost:-Remains fixed irrespective of the variation in volume of output. This is rent of the hospital building depreciation  Variable Cost:- Increase in production increases total cost but per unit remain constant and vice-versa. Such as the cost of hospital staffing.  Semi-Variable Cost / Semi-Fixed cost-:These are partly fixed and partly variable; such as telephone rental.
