2. CONFIDENTIAL2 Let’s review what we did in the previous chapter WEIGHT: It is a customary measurement that tells how heavy an object is. Like, we can say that: The dog’s weight is equal to 12 pounds. An ounces (oz) is used to measure weight in the customary system.

3. CONFIDENTIAL3 Review  The cat’s weight is 9 pounds.  A strawberry’s weight is 1 ounce (oz).  A pineapple’s weight is 1 pound (lb).  A car’s weight is 1 ton (T).

Change Larger to Smaller units To change to a smaller unit, multiply. Example: How many inches are in 6 feet? 12 inches = 1 foot 6 feet = 6 x 12 = 72 inches
