1. 1 Leon County Board of County Commissioners Killearn Lakes Sidewalk Construction and Traffic Calming Kinhega Drive and Deer Lake Road

2. 2 CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE  Estimated Construction Time for the entire project is 9 to 12 months.  The Sidewalk Construction started in front of the Deer Lake Middle School and will continue on Deer Lake Road.  Construction activities are generally within two 1,000-foot segments at a time if a second crew can be added.  The construction work in front of the Killearn Lakes Elementary School will be scheduled when the school is not in session.

4. 4 SCOPE AND INTENT OF THE IMPROVEMENTS  Add Sidewalks on one side of the Deer Lake Road and Kinhega Drive, and Pedestrian Crossings.  Improve Safety and Function while preserving existing trees, wetlands, and character.  Add Bike Lane Pavement Marking and Signage to both sides of the road.  Reduce the vehicular travel lane width to encourage slower running speeds.
