The Expectation Integrated Care and Support… (where that adds value by improving outcomes and or reducing costs) Locally driven – one size does not fit all Empowering patients and communities Integrated care and support as the norm in the next 5 years with pioneers moving faster

Spending Review Additional transfer of funds focused on integration ( from 15/16) Counted as if will all arrive in LAs Significant strings – detail to follow Outcomes driver but implicit assumption about efficiency Need to spend on social care may increase further not reduce

In summary High expectations A lot of detailed work to do A real need to work across boundaries – best use of public ( and private) pound Need to focus on prevention and recovery Much we can do The window of opportunity is open!
