“Charging Library” drives checkout Sets ILL Lending/Borrowing at Home Library Borrowing library rules define the circulation rule, instead of the lending library Discussed over the summer & approved by SWAN Board
5
E-book Integration with eResource Central Downloads & Holds directly within Enterprise Automatic Synchronization of e-book collections

Pick Up Anywhere Option for public libraries in SWAN to allow patrons to select a location other than their home library for pickup of materials
7
Unlimited Symphony Sessions Multiple Symphony Sessions on the same Computer Have fun!
8
Patron Photos Your Axis 210/211 cameras will not work in Symphony Good news! Photos can be taken with a $25 webcam SWAN is providing those libraries who had Axis 210/211 cameras with a replacement webcam

Digital Signatures SWAN demanded it, we got it! Symphony 3.5 Works with same Topaz devices, but better!
10
Item Limits at Checkout Affects SWAN Reciprocal Borrower patrons Your patrons visiting SWAN libraries
11
MILLENNIUM Used “Patron Block Table” The limits for patrons follow your patron when they visit another library 10 DVD checkout limit applies no matter where they go SYMPHONY Limits are reflected, but only at your library 10 DVD checkout limit at home But if your patron visits another library that is “unlimited” they will have “unlimited” privileges See #1 Change, CHARGING LIBRARY Item Limits at Checkout for RB Patrons

“Very helpful and informative. I really appreciated the class. The presenters' knew their stuff.” – User Registration Class “The Mentor classes were useful in a very basic way, for new terminology, where to find tabs & buttons, and such. …This presentation was far more useful. We were able to ask questions and see how WorkFlows really works with live demos and a variety of circumstances.” – User Registration Class “I was under the impression that the workshop would be a 'hands-on' type meaning we would be playing with Work Flows. I am completely satisfied with what I learned despite my own initial confusion.” – User Registration Class “I would have enjoyed the ability to follow along on my own pc to really solidify how to navigate.” – User Registration Class
