Our ACCESS Courier makes deliveries to departmental mailrooms daily when classes are in session. During intersessions photocopies are mailed through campus mail and books are held for pick-up at the Haggard Circulation Desk. –Our goal is to deliver to you books and copies of articles in journals owned by Western within two working days of processing your request. –If a book from our collection happens to be in use, we will request it for you and deliver it as soon as it's available. –Books requested through Cascade will be delivered to your office when you choose "Document Delivery (Faculty Only)" as the Pickup Location. This service is targeted towards students who do not come to campus regularly and will be offered on a trial basis through June 15, 2001. At that time The Libraries will evaluate its success. Yes, but the most important thing to consider if you select this ILLiad delivery option is that for most students it will not be the best or fastest way to receive interlibrary loan materials. The fastest way to get the materials you have requested remains to pick them up at the Haggard Circulation Desk after receiving e-mail notice that they have arrived. Students selecting the “Mail to Home Address” delivery option have the following responsibilities: Students selecting the “Mail to Home Address” delivery option have the following responsibilities: –You are responsible for all books mailed by the library to you even if you do not receive them. Books will be shipped uninsured via Library Rate (4th class mail – slow…). –You are responsible for returning materials to the library on time. If you are mailing books back ship early so that they arrive a day before the due date. Regular ILL fines of $0.50 per day will be charged for overdue books! –You are responsible for return shipping charges as well as replacement costs for any returned item never received back at WWU. –Books can be returned 24-hours a day using the outside book drop located on the south wall of Wilson Library under the Skybridge if you prefer to bring them to campus.
