Doorways for Women & Families Grant: Taxi vouchers (priority project in FY2013 solicitation) Target Population: Residents of shelters and transitional housing programs in Northern Virginia Purpose: To get to job training, conduct job searches or reach employment locations Total Funding: $40,000 6

Dulles Area Transportation Association Grant: Rotating Rideshare Coordinator – mobility management Target Population: Low-income employees of employment sites in the Dulles corridor Purpose: Assistance to form carpools, vanpools and to improve transit use Total Funding: $187,500 7

Skill Source Group Grant: Road to Employment – shuttle service Target Population: Participants in the Fairfax County Pre-Release Employment Center Purpose: Transport to and from job sites that are not transit accessible Total Funding: $250,254 Transport to and from job sites that are not transit accessible 8

Family Matters of Greater Washington Grant: Ways to Work Program – affordable car loans for low-income working families (priority project in FY2013 solicitation) Target Population: Individuals in Southeast D.C. and Prince George’s County with limited access to public transit Purpose: To meet reverse commute and child-care related transportation needs Total Funding: $340,000 9

Northern Virginia Family Service Grant: Vehicles for Change Program–donated vehicles to low- income working families for a program fee (priority project in FY2013 solicitation) Target Population: Northern Virginia families with limited access to transit who are unable to qualify for a standard vehicle loan Purpose: To encourage job stability and financial responsibility Total Funding: $1,034,410 10

Northern Virginia Family Service Grant: Training Futures Program – shuttle service to job training site Target Population: Training Futures participants able to reach commuter stops within a 10-mile radius of training site Purpose: Transport to Training Futures, a 23-week workforce development program in Manassas offered through Northern Virginia Community College Total Funding: $102,556 11

City of Alexandria Grant: Pedestrian Mobility Enhancements – design and construction of pedestrian safety upgrades at 4 intersections Target Population: People with disabilities living in and visiting the City of Alexandria Purpose: To improve access Total Funding: $400,000 13

Yellow Cab of Prince William County Grant: Accessible Taxi Pilot – (priority in FY2013 solicitation) Target Population: Prince William County and North Stafford County residents seeking alternative, accessible transportation options Purpose: Purchase and operation of 4 accessible vehicles Total Funding: $156,250 14

Liberty Transportation Grant: rollDC – expansion and continuation of accessible taxicab pilot Target Population: DC residents seeking alternative, accessible transportation options Purpose: Purchase and operation of 5 additional accessible vehicles Total Funding: $276,783 15

DC Office on Aging Grant: continuation of Caregivers Respite Escort Service for Transportation (CREST) – certified home care aids accompanying riders to and from medical appointments Target Population: Older adults who have a disability Purpose: Door-through-door service Total Funding: $182,937 16
