Be sure your animal is healthy before taking it anywhere.

Vaccinate? Check with a veterinarian to know what/if is appropriate

Keep bedding clean and manure piles to a minimum

Disinfect new stalls, pens, etc. before putting an animal inside 1 part bleach – 10 parts H2O
