BACKGROUND The Road Accident Fund is in need of a service provider who can supply and install furniture and screens in the RAF offices nationally. The service provider or company must have five (5) years or more of experience in the supply and installation of furniture and screens. The roll-out of this goods and services will be over a period of three years.

Details of the Bid REQUEST FOR BID: Supply And Installation Of Office Furniture And Screens For A Period Of Three Years Closing date 15 October 2012. All questions / enquiries outside this forum will be via email to: tsholok@raf.co.za not later than 11:00 on 4 th October 2012 tsholok@raf.co.za Questions/ Answers will be published on the RAF website by 5 th October 2012.

Technical / Functional Requirements The technical criterion that will be utilized to test the capability of The service providers Technical criterion will be evaluated against the following detailed requirements: Company profile Project plan Implementation and roll-out plan Time lines, from order to delivery Installation Team Availability of a supervisor, supervision of delivery and assembling of furniture and screens Packaging, Delivery and assembling of furniture and screens NB: All bidders who score 60 or more out of 80 points will be shortlisted for site visits Site visit Operation of the business Site visit outside Gauteng province will be for the bidder’s account (travel and accommodation) NB: All Bidders who score LESS than 75 out of 100 on functionality including site visit will not be considered for further evaluation on Price and BEE
