3. Hispanic Heritage Month Cristina Saralegui is a talk-show host of the weekly prime-time EL Show de Cristina. She came to the U.S. from Cuba at the age of 12 and now sits at the center of a Hispanic empire. Cristina started a talk-show, a magazine, a furniture line and a clothing line. She has won 11 Emmy’s.

4. STEP TRY OUTS CANCELED Please DO NOT stay after school for Step Team tryouts on the 8th, 9th, or 10th. The 2014-2015 Stem Team members will be announced on Monday, October 27th

6. Chef’s Club There is still room for 9 more students in the Chef’s Club. Sign up now with Mrs. Linda Reynolds in the cafeteria. If you have turned in a Chef’s Club form you are now part of the club! The first meeting will be October 14, 2014 and the club will meet once a month after that.
