3 What is an assault weapon?  Any type of firearm that can fire full-auto

4 Why are they banned?  Suspected criminal use  Very deadly weapon

5 Military Use  Our military uses them to defend our country

6 Criminal and terrorist Use  Criminal and terrorist organizations

7 Hunting weapons vs. Assault weapons  Civilians can buy semi-auto hunting weapons legally

8 Differences between hunting weapons and assault weapons  Assault weapons can be selected to fire full auto or single shot

9  hunting weapons cannot fire full auto

10  Cannot purchase full-auto weapons or convert semi to full auto

11  Assault weapons are not as powerful as most hunting rifles used for large game

12  Assault weapons are not commonly used for crimes in the US

13  Most shooting incidents are not involved with assault weapons

14 Open to Opinion  “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.”

15  Assault weapons can be valuable for self-defense
