POSITION OF KA’BAH
2
“The first house of worship appointed for mankind was at Bakkah : “full of blessing and of guidance for all world”(3:96) Ka’bah was thus blessed house of worship and the universal house of worship Position of ka’bah remained in place for a long of period Arabs had installed many idols n ka’bah Then, only Arabs visited it for worship and non –Arabs no longer interested in visiting it. It seem Allah willed to return ka’bah its lost Glory and He raised the Last Prophet for that purpose.

So, ka’bah would get its position as the blessed and the universal place for worship. This because the Last Prophet is not only for Arabs, but also for non-Arabs. The Last Prophet really purified ka’bah of all its signs of idol-worship and devote it to the worship of Allah. Until now, the ka’bah holds the position of the blessed house of worship as it is symbol of the unity of Allah(tawhid) It is visited now by muslims from all over the world.

conclusion The mission of the Last Prophet required the people with certain qualities, and Arabs were the only people who possessed those required qualities. They possessed enviably strong memory which was a prerequisite for the preservation of the revelation sent to the Last Prophet. In addition, Arabia is situated in the middle of the globe which gave it the edge over other nations. Arabia also the only unilingual nation and this make spreading of da’awah become easier. Abraham’s prayer to Allah to raise a prophet among Arabs played a crucial role in the selection of Arabian peninsula as the venue for the last prophet. The position of ka’bah is blessed place of worship and the universal place of worship. All of these reasons constituted the wisdom behind the selection of Arabian Peninsula as the place for the Last Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w)
