Like a shepherd He leads us, Like a father he feeds us From the morning, to the evening, ‘til the sun rise again Like a shepherd He leads us, Like a father he feeds us He is the great I am.

Live a Simple Life v. 33 Verse 33: "Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves money belts which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near nor moth destroys." “No to excessive spending and excessive saving, yes to simple living.”

Live a Simple Life v. 33 In Luke 18:22 Jesus said, "Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." When Zaccheus met Jesus, he said (Luke 19:8), "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.“ In Acts 4:37 it says, "Barnabas sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles' feet."

Investing Treasures in Heaven, Not on the Earth v. 33-34 money belts maybe considered our piggy banks in this time “money belts which do not wear out” is our investment bank in heaven invest on heaven; by giving to charity, to the poor, and most importantly to the church with love

Conclusion "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." v. 34

Conclusion “If your treasure is on earth, and lies in earthly things, your hearts will be set upon them, and be in them, in your bags, your coffers and storehouses; and so your souls will be in danger of being lost; which loss will be an irreparable one, though you should gain the whole world (Like the rich young ruler). But if your treasure is put into the hands of God, your hearts will be with him, and be settled on him; your desires will be after heavenly things; your affections will be set on things above; your conversation will be in heaven, whilst you are on earth; and that will be the place and seat of your happiness, to all eternity.” -Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible
