Why This Study? Many churches today claim to be the Lord’s church. Which one is right? I must be certain concerning the church of which I am a part (2 Corinthians 13:5; 1 John 4:1). Something “close” or “near” will not do. How can I help someone else find the Lord’s church?

Characteristics of the Church The Lord’s Church Spiritual, not carnal (1 Corinthians 3:1) Disciplined, not disorderly (2 Thessalonians 3:6) Pure, not spotted (Ephesians 5:27) Alive, not dead (Revelation 3:2) Hot, not lukewarm (Revelation 3:16) Churches of Men A church may have many correct characteristics, but be filled with carnality, worldliness, division and apathy

Find the Lord’s Church Today! How many churches did Christ build (Matthew 16:18)? Membership in a man-made church will bring you ruin (Matthew 15:13) Division is against God’s will (John 17:21; 1 Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:4) Become a simple New Testament Christians today!
