26 FP6−2004−Infrastructures−6-SSA-026409 E-infrastructure shared between Europe and Latin America Madrid, KoM, 30.01.2006 26 Conclusions and outlook The progress made by EELA in such a short amount of time is quite impressive –the sentence written in the EELA press release “By means of the action of a group of very skilled and highly motivated people…” is in fact very true! However, many challenges are still in front of us: –extension of the pilot testbed –setting-up of ROC and User Support –setting-up of Certification Authorities in Latin America –porting of additional and new applications –the first deliverables (to be due already in february !) –create the EELA “brand” and the “team spirit”
