Care and Transport of the Critical Care Patient Tom Cahill, RRT, shared his attitude (or was that altitude) on the technique of transporting critical care patients by land or by air The three P’s of the “transporter” were presented Physiological concepts Psychological management Physical endurance This presentation really hit home with the students since several of our graduates, working at the University of Michigan Hospital & Health System actually do fly with patients in helicopters Tom on the right
