3 UNCLASSIFIED SDDB History Early 2000, Leaders of USTRANSCOM & DLA developed the Strategic Distribution Management Initiative RAND Corporation integrated DoD and non-DoD data sources to diagnose enterprise problems in support of this effort RAND’s enterprise data repository became the Strategic Distribution Database (SDDB) Transitioned database maintenance to DORRA and performance reporting/analysis to USTRANSCOM in 2006 Today the SDDB is a fundamental basis for distribution performance management for the DPO mission UNCLASSIFIED 3
