NEO starts with an industry leading 38° design makes it easier to see the ultra bright 500Nit display, it also minimizes wrist deflections that reduces the risk of employee injury. Our unique removable pistol grip can be quickly installed during heavy use such as inventory count, and easily removed for normal daily operation. This is all built on a performance platform that features light weight and full-shift battery performance with exceptional reserve capacity.
The newest NEO is further improved with a 624MHz processor, a high performance 2D imager, a new battery health meter and the introduction of Windows Mobile 6.1. 6

26. Product Transition
To be a better business partner, our policy is to support a 5-10 month overlap of old to new product. The duration varies depending on the complexity of the transition.
There are approximately 2000 units of unsold NEO 312’s (both in channel and in Psion). This in an appropriate amount to support a 4-6 month overlap, but only if you continue to sell the existing NEO 312.
What should you do?
Remind customers the NEO 312 is cheaper than the new NEO 624 ($50, €50, £30)
Push NEO 312 orders to Quickship configs (we may end some other non-Quickship SKU’s early)
If you have large NEO deals that are interested in the 312 configs, special pricing may be available, please consult your local Sales VP for consideration with the support of S&OP.
The majority of the remaining stock is in the channel, please work with your local channel manager to see of a indirect sale is more appropriate.
Remember: Overstock and excess inventory is expensive and impacts profitability. Please help work inventory levels down intelligently so we can continue predictable and smooth transitions.
