7 Types of Zombies Haitian Voodoo Zombie- This type of zombie is raised by a voodoo priest and is controlled by that priest until its destruction or his death.

8 Types of Zombies Electricity Zombie- Theoretically, electricity powers our bodies. This type of zombie is created when a body is exposed to massive amounts of electricity (e.g. a lightning strike)

9 Types of Zombies Nuclear radiation Zombie (Romero zombies)- Nuclear fallout reanimates dead flesh to create zombies. These zombies feed and use swarm tactics to overwhelm remaining humans.

10 Types of Zombies Virus Zombie- This type of zombie is created when infected by a zombie virus. Once released, the virus is carried by zombies and transmitted, usually via bodily fluids (e.g. during a bite)

11 Why do zombies? Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. YODA

12 Zombie Project 1) Your individual zombie plan You will write a zombie plan that details your plan for survival in zombie apocalypse. You must have a plan for getting food and water, shelter and protection.

13 Zombie Project 2) You will work with a group to re-write one of the stories we read this year, adding in the zombie element. You must allow the zombies to change some of the elements of that work (e.g. setting, mood, tone, etc.) but the essence of the original work must be present. You must add original dialogue.

14 Zombie Project 3) You will storyboard your zombie masterpiece to show how it would be filmed. 4) You will present your story and storyboard at a gallerywalk presentation for the class to see. 5) You will vote on the best zombie story for us to film as a class.

15 The authors of the chosen story will serve as directors. They will audition and choose the cast. Several students not among the cast will need to serve as makeup artists. Several students not among the cast will need to serve as costume coordinators. Filming
