2  The murder Of Emmit Till had a significant impact on Civil Rights Movement.

4 Reasons  The murder enraged Blacks in the north and south.  Emmit’s trial attracted attention world- wide.  Emmit Till’s murder attracted the attention of the NAACP along with the help of his mother.

5 People in the south added to the civil rights movement.  Seeing what had happened to Emmit Till people in the south joined in the civil rights movement.  People in Mississippi started to convert themselves as well and join the civil rights movement.  Fearing from seeing Emmitt Tills Corpse the strength of the civil rights movement grew stronger

6 Emmitt Tills wrongful trial brought the need for retribution to the civil rights movement.  The acquittal of Emmitt Till’s murderers enraged blacks in the south.  The murder was promoted as a “lynching”  All white jury had acquitted the Murderers making people even angrier.

7 The NAACP and Emmitt Tills mother added to the Movement.  The NAACP supported Emmitt Till’s murder calling it unrighteous.  The NAACP and Emmitt's mother tried many times to reopen the case.  Emmitt's mother went around the world telling people of the horrible tragedy of her son.

8 Conclusion  The Murder of Emmitt Till was significant factor in the Civil Rights Movement.
