2. Workprogress TF agreed on 1 st F2F Meeting in Paris. Target SOC range “Normal operating SOC range” means the range between the lowest and highest SOC as defined by the manufacturer. SOC level at Testing TF agreed with the principle to aim to adjust at the highest SOC reasonably possible. Justification As the purpose of EVS is to verify the safety of batteries within the range of their normal use in the vehicles where they are installed, the test for a battery should be carried out under the SOC condition that is as close as possible to the upper limit in the battery’s normal operating SOC range in the vehicle where it is installed.
