Specific provisions exist for the FIA championships. They are now clearly notified, chapter after chapter.

The chief medical officer: Must write and speak English Must have a deputy Must attend the biennial seminar Must, in anticipation of a mass accident, contact the qualified person.

The doctors in the intervention cars must be experienced in taking charge of emergencies outside the hospital setting.

In each medical vehicle : (intervention, extrication) At least one person must understand and speak English.

Handicapped participants are now called "participants with special abilities". The assessment tests have been revised and clarified. In rallies, in case of accident, the co-drivers must be capable of performing certain rescue and safety tasks.

For the chief medical officer : Inform the FIA (medical department) of any accident.

For the driver: In all cases, inform the medical delegate. If the incapacity lasted 10 days or more, Present: A certificate of recovery A certificate from the driver’s ASN.
