Health Resources and Services Administration Maternal and Child Health Bureau Early & Continuous Screening The HRSA component of the President’s New Freedom Initiative calls for the “expansion and strengthening of newborn screening programs” and promotion of “ongoing screening of Children with Special Health care Needs (CSHCN).
