6 war on terrorism After the terrorist attacks on 9-11, the Bush administration declared a “war on terrorism” This “war” gave more power to the executive branch of government to investigate acts of terrorism and to prevent future acts of terrorism.

7 racial profiling Government activity directed at a suspect or group of suspects based solely on race. A form of racism consisting of the (alleged) policy of policemen who stop and search vehicles driven by persons belonging to particular racial groups.
