4  The LBJ Treatment  Was a master of party politics  Behind the scene maneuvering  Rose to powerful senatorial position in 1955  Why was he a good VP choice-from the South (balance Democrat’s ticket) great amount of experience in Washington D.C.  Known for his skill at compromise
