3. NJASK NEW JERSEY ASSESSMENT OF SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE NJASK 2008 saw a increase in test “rigor” and rescoring to establish more challenging proficiency goals for Grades 5 through 8. NJASK 2009 saw an increase in test “rigor” for Grades 3 and 4 to establish more challenging proficiency goals. NJASK 2010 saw a change in the use of calculators in the Math sections of all grades.
