UC COUNSELOR CONFERENCE SEPTEMBER 2014 UC’s share of the state general fund dropped from 8.1 percent to 2.7 percent between 1966 and 2014. Between 2001-2013, state appropriations decreased from 23 percent of UC revenue to 9 percent.
