Vacuum Box Leak Detection Systems
3
Vacuum Box To compliment our tank inspection equipment, Silverwing manufacture an extensive range of vacuum box systems
4
Vacuum Box Vacuum Boxes are available for both floor-plate lap welds and shell to annular welds
5
The open edge of the vacuum box incorporates a soft but hard wearing
neoprene seal so a vacuum can be generated within the box
6
Vacuum Box All vacuum boxes are fitted with a calibrated vacuum relief valve to prevent damage or injury due to excessive vacuum.
7
Two main types of Vacuum Box systems are available:
Standard High Pressure models produce a vacuum of 20 inch Hg for detection of smaller leaks
8
Two main types of Vacuum Box systems are available:
low pressure models produce a vacuum of 10 inch Hg and are best suited for new tank builds where large leaks are the main concern.
9
Vacuum boxes can be configured to run from an electric vacuum pump or
from a compressed air supply
10
The V600E electric vacuum pump eliminates the need for a compressor
