Akego Akego – Gallery and Shop provides a space where contemporary African and African Diaspora Art is showcased and embraced. It is a place where artists and non-artists can come together and exchange ideas. The design of Akego is inspired by the African Art that it showcases. African Art characteristics like smooth and organic forms, luminosity, balance, diversity and the notion of a passage are the underlying design elements in Akego.
