Framing Sectional Drawings
Sectional Drawings illustrate details that can not be seen on elevations or floor plans. Sectional Drawings contain symbols, reference codes, and dimensions to indicate construction information.

Section Drawing Criteria
** Make sure that the gable end you choose to draw is facing towards the bottom of the screen!!! The distance between floors should be 10’ for 8’ finished floor to ceiling height. If you have a ceiling taller than 8’ you should take the difference and add it on to the original number. Ex: 10’ space between floors = 8’ Floor to ceiling height 12’ Space between floors = 10’ Floor to ceiling height Layers: Section Walls Section Dims Section Labels Section Projection
