J acquel yn Bischak received a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 1987 and has spent a large portion of her career working in advertisi ng, most recently for Leo Burnett Co.. She began landscap e painting in 1998 and consider s it to be her transitio n from the world of advertisi ng back to the “world of Fine Art”. Ja cquelyn has recently pursued figurativ e painting, an area she has realized great satisfacti on. "I have always enjoyed figurative drawing, painting the figure has been an amazing journey... a whole new experience. I will continue to focus on figurative painting; working to improve my technique so that I speak clearly, and simply capture moments of beauty, thought, and unity. I hope to leave behind paintings that embody this present moment worthy of study”. Steele, John Sargent and contemporary artists Jeremy Lipking and Sherrie McGraw. She is a friend to the California Art Club and the Smithsonian Art Institute. Her distinctive figure studies and landscapes are in numerous private and corporate collections. She has a growing list of Juried Exhibitions, Awards and Gallery Shows.
