Presentation Purpose PETE programs must provide pre-service physical educators with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to promote physical activity and health- related fitness Toward these critical exit outcomes, the use of Physical Best in teacher education has received considerable attention at recent conferences The purpose of this presentation is to extend that discussion to include alternative and authentic assessment strategies for measuring pre-service physical educators’ readiness to employ Physical Best in their teaching
