1 This PowerPoint will cover: Step 2: Logging In to OTIS Online. Step 3: Creating an Artifact.

2 Step 2 Login.

3 Login by putting in your User ID, Password, and selecting User Level: Student

4 This is your homepage. Begin by uploading a picture of your artwork as your profile picture. Please do not use a personal picture of yourself (for your protection).

5 Step 3 Create an Artifact.

6 An artifact is the file you upload along with a narrative (or description) and standards.

7 To create an artifact, click “Create/Manage Artifacts.”

8 Click on “Create New Artifact.”

9 Add an Artifact Title: A descriptive title of your art work or file (lesson plan, resume, philosophy statement, etc.)

10 Select: Richards, A (teacherid) if instructor name is not listed Select the Course the artifact was created for or in (if the course is not listed, select “not applicable”).

11 Select the year you are applying for TEP or mid-level review. And, select the semester (Fall or Spring).

12 Click Create Artifact.

13 Your artifact appears in the In-Progress section.

14 Submitted Artifacts On your screen there are 2 sections: In-Progress Artifacts & Submitted Artifacts. First, we’ll focus on the In-Progress Section by editing an artifact.
