Checklist of basic objective for multimedia projects to help enhance and guide the students to create a thoughtful and well rounded presentation within the guidelines given.

Teacher leads instruction via lecture, textbook, and/or other methods Students listen, read, collaborate, experiment, and/or research Students collect and prepare digital assets Teacher introduces unit and explains goals/objectives Students create storyboard or design plan Students produce multimedia artifact as evidence of learning Artifacts are published and teacher evaluates with rubric

What are the limitations of multimedia based projects?

Students will work collaboratively, accepting all input and processing thoughtfully as a group before making decisions Students will reflect and reevaluate as they move through the steps in creating their projects. Students will complete their projects with a minimum of teacher intervention. Students will take leadership roles as well as delegate responsibilities fairly. Students will be able to appropriately share information, while in turn being able to accept the input of others.

Students will speak clearly, audibly, and precisely when presenting. Students will present written information clearly, correctly, concisely, and in their own words. Students’ written text will use correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and capitalization. Students will organize information to achieve particular purposes and to appeal to the background and interests of the audience. Students will share responsibility in producing the presentation. Students will find concrete ways to engage with the audience.
