May I use my cell phone as a clicker? No: Not in my class You are required to purchase a clicker for this class. Yes: You may use either or both Supported devices include: Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod touch Android devices Windows Mobile devices Laptop computers You will need to create an account and purchase a ResponseWare license from the Turning Technologies site: https://account.turningtechnologies.com/account/

Where do I get a clicker? Go to Bobcat Depot: In Baker Center 1 st floor (behind the escalators) http://bobcatdepot.ohio.edu/main/home.aspx

How much does it cost? Clickers: $34.00 + tax New clicker $26.00 + tax Used clicker $20.00 = Buy back for used clickers @ Tech Depot ResponseWare license: Discounted price if you use the Ohio University School Code 1 Year License $17 2 Year License $26 4 Year License $35

Register your device Log in to Blackboard and open the clicker course: Click Tools in the Course Menu Open the Turning Technologies Registration Tool: Follow the steps shown on the next few screens.

Register your device Type your clicker Device ID: Request mobile device ID with your Turning Account credentials:

What’s my device ID? Your clicker Device ID is on the back of your clicker 6-8 characters Hexadecimal (0-9, A-F) Those are Zero’s, there are NO O-letters!)

How do I set the channel? 1.Press the “Ch” Channel button. 2.Enter the 2 digit channel code (The light will be blinking red-green) 3.Press the “Ch” Channel button again. The Channel for this class is 41

How do I know if I reset it? IF … the light is You did it! or Try again.

How do I know if I reset it? The LCD will display the channel (See the 41 below) (if your clicker has an LCD display)

Is my clicker is working? Pay attention to the light answer IS received answer IS NOT received Or the LCD Window (if you have one)

Is my clicker working? If … The light is faint or weak? The channel can NOT be reset? Then … Your battery is going dead. Visit Bobcat Depot Dead batteries will be replaced for free!
