1 Stimulating and Supporting Innovation in Learning RSC Wales – Supporting Programmes of Development

2 Mission Statement We, the JISC Regional Support Centres promote and support the use of network learning technologies and resources in the UK further and higher education sectors. To do this, we shall: Help colleges make fuller use of their JANET connection by working with the JISC and UKERNA to improve UK-wide networked educational services. Respond to any relevant query from nominated staff in colleges in our regions, supporting them until problems are signed off. Support staff in developing e-learning capability in their organisations. Provide a range of technical and curriculum services through site visits, training and awareness raising events, and peer networking support. Work with other regional bodies and organisations to develop and publicise a coherent regional programme of activities to support the development of e-learning. Continually monitor, evaluate and improve our quality of service. We achieve this, in partnership with other JISC services and organisations, by working with technical, teaching, learning resources and management staff in further and higher education institutions.
