Aim – To develop personal safety skills to deal with difficult situations. Learning Outcomes I have an understanding of what sexual assault is. I understand the difference between appropriate and inappropriate touches and what personal space is. I am able to use language and body language to communicate how to say “Yes” and how to say “No”.

Learning Outcomes I understand some of the risks of using the Internet and of chat rooms in particular I can recognise times when people try to pressure me into taking risks which may place me in danger. I am able to identify personal safety strategies to help me get out of dangerous situations.

I understand what peer pressure is and how it affects my decision making. I can identify the point in a situation when risking for fun becomes dangerous.
