4. Base Complete ready for VCI Packaging materials

5. Howitzer M198 Ready for placement to base

6. Manufacture and fit gun ID plate with exposed metal Breech for inspection viewing

7. VCI Ferro foil and VCI triple layer on Base ready for gun placement

8. Gun is positioned on base sheets. All exposed metal surfaces are coated with G15 rust preventative. Outer gun and end barrel,Muzzle applied with Mil Spec Versil pak (mouldable wrap ) MIL-B-121-H

9. Muzzle brake and radial tyres fitted onto base and sealed inside VCI triple layer Film

10. Gun is ready for Vacuum sealing (note clear window for gun breech and registration plate viewing)

11. Vacuum applied and Inner layer sealed

12. VCI Ferro foil outer layer Vacuum applied and sealed, chocks fitted to secure wheels. (Note clear window for viewing of breech and registration plate

13. Outer Crate walls Lined with VCI Ferro Foil

14. Crate walls erected lined with VCI Ferro foil.

15. Fit end and spreader beam for roof panels, fit other end and then the roof panels

16. Inspection hole cut and screw in marine hatch, note that gun ID plate and breech ring can be viewed

17. Completed inspection end

18. Completed crate ready for top cap

19. VCI triple layer film Top cap fitted, finished product ready for locating (5 YEAR PROGRAM )
