Start slow with basics. explaining parts of the computer moving the mouse clicking once and hitting enter maximize and minimize opening and closing programs changing size, style and color of font accessing class blog and various links saving projects

2 – 4 iPods/iPads - split kids in groups or individually use them during “stations” “small group instruction time” “centers”. Have brainstorming and planning separate from actually using. Use for extra practice and enrichment when other work is complete.
