3 Federal Accountability- AYP Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)- based on: 1.Overall Attendance through grade 8/Graduation rate 9-12 2.Student subgroup performance: % scoring Proficient or Advanced on PACT and HSAP % scoring Proficient or Advanced on PACT and HSAP ELA and Math ELA and Math Note: Must have 40 students in a subgroup before counted (50 for disability subgroup) Note: Must have 40 students in a subgroup before counted (50 for disability subgroup) % required to score Proficient or Advanced increases every few years

4 AYP is all or nothing….. If ONE subgroup does not meet the guidelines, the school does not make AYP……more importance to look at school’s COMPLIANCE index.
