NMOOP Seed Production & Distribution programme by Central Agencies (2014-15)

Pattern of Assistance under NMOOP ComponentsPattern of Assistance (100%) Purchase of breeder seed / parental lines full cost of breeder seeds procurement Production of Foundation seed Rs.1000/quintal for all varieties/hybrids of 10 years and additional assistance of Rs.100/qtl for 5 years old. 75% of subsidy amount is meant for farmers and 25% for seed producing agencies. Production of certified seed -do- Distribution of certified seed 50% of the cost limited to Rs.1200/quintal for varieties (less than10 years) and Rs.2500/qtls for hybrids, with a ceiling of 5 ha/farmer. Distribution of Minikits Free of cost to farmers. @ 1 minikit for every 20 ha area each crop.
