What has been Pilate’s position so far? Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I find no fault in Him. Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe Pilate said, "Behold the Man!” How did the Jews respond? Pilate: You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him Jews: We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.

We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God. How did Pilate respond to this? He was more afraid. Where are you from? Jesus gave no answer Pilate says, “Are you not speaking to me?” Don’t you know I have the power. Jesus says, no you have no power except what is given you by My Father The one who delivered me to you has the greater sin From this point on Pilate looks to free Jesus Isaiah 53:7
