Take a Lenten Journey in the Stapleton Chapel Whenever you come to Fort Street, enter the Stapleton Chapel and continue your journey through prayer. Each week you will find a new prayer suggestion. Spend as much time as you like. Listen, smell, touch, see, breathe. Week of March 9Study the stained glass windows as you pray. Week of March 16Unroll the scroll and read the scripture, or read the Bible. Week of March 23Light a candle as you offer your prayers. Week of March 30Play with the stones in the water as you pray. Week of April 6Listen to the music as your prayers float out. Week of April 12Hold a palm as you pray. Donate to the Deacon's Easter Basket Project for needy families at our neighborhood schools.Bring items listed in the weekly bulletin or candy.

Ash Wednesday Service Ash Wednesday Service Lenten Season 2014 Wednesday, March 5, 2014 – 6:00 PM We begin with a simple meal of soup, crackers and bread. Please consider a donation in the amount that you might pay for a simple meal out. Donations beyond the cost of the meal will go to the Fort Street Open Door Program. Our meal will be followed by a service that will include a bible study, introduction of prayer partners for the Lenten Season and the imposition of ashes.

GA-101 GA-101 Lenten Season 2014 Sunday, March 16 – 9:15 to 10:00 AM Held in the McMillan Room Led by the Pastor Partly, a repeat for those who were unable to attend in February. Yet, new; because, our time together is guided primarily by your questions about the Presbyterian Church's General Assembly, to be held at Cobo Hall in June 2014.

Palm Sunday Palm Sunday Sunday, April 13, 10:00 a.m. Begin a week-long walk with Jesus on his way to Jerusalem and the cross. Gather at 10:00 a.m., in the Great Hall, for prayer, percussion and palm leaves, followed by the out-door procession and the triumphant entry into the sanctuary and a sea of waving palms. Help the Deacons pack Easter baskets of food and candy for needy families at local schools.
